Our Team

The Laneway Consulting Inc. team are Josh Liberman, Paul Conder, and Seigfried Penner.
Josh Liberman has worked with clients in helping obtain financing since 1993 in the USA. Clients needs have ranged from residential, commercial, interim, construction, and his specialty; private loans. He managed a large successful Private Lending Syndicate achieving excellent returns with minimal risk. As a British Columbia Licensed Mortgage Broker, he continues to selectively underwrite and lend Private Funds from his portfolio and select clients. Most recently working as a Vice President of Underwriting for a prominent Private Lending Fund with over $500 Million under management. Constantly evolving his education in real estate, he has taken the requisite courses to be a Certified Appraiser as well as studies in Real Estate and Business Law, Foreclosure, Creative Real Estate, Notes and Contracts, and has achieved various designations from National Mortgage Associations. In conjunction with his mortgage company, in 1997 he began buying, fixing up, and selling properties. This evolved into the purchasing and self managing of many rental properties for his own portfolio. He has worked closely with various Bank Senior Management Teams to come up with win/win solutions to help their struggling clients and also improve the banks properties in default balance sheets. Josh also has extensive experience in land development, residential construction, and modular home construction. He has been involved in his own and others real estate developments throughout all stages. Working with real estate for all these years, Josh has demonstrated a strong passion for this business and helping others maximize their real estate opportunities.
Paul Conder brings a strong background in design and project management to the LCI team. In his nearly 20 years of leading multidisciplinary creative and production teams, Paul has worked throughout North America and Mexico creating unique spaces for developers of residential, commercial, retail and resort properties. Paul was co-founder and chief designer for Microsphere Systems, which received the Best of NeoCon Gold Award and NeoCon’s Most Innovative Product Award for his product design work. Paul has been featured extensively in the international media, including Interior Design magazine, The Chicago Tribune, Uficiostile Italia, CNN, CBS, TF1 (France) and FOX News. He was also featured as a “Young Leader in Canadian Design” by the Globe and Mail. In 2006 Paul co-founded Waddell and Conder, www.waddellandconder.com, a firm that specializes in helping clients turn their brand ideas into three dimensional spaces. Paul is also a regular lecturer on the subjects of design, media and sustainability – lecturing at The University of British Columbia School of Engineering, Sauder School of Business, Simon Fraser University School of Interactive Technology and Emily Carr University of Art and Design. He holds an honours degree with high distinction in Industrial Design from Carleton University School of Engineering.
Siegfried Penner brings to the LCI team a foundation of hands-on knowledge and experience in every facet of renovation and construction.  Siegfried has worked under the home building firm Eco-Plan Ltd from 1989 to 1992, after which he founded his own home improvement company Home Suite Home Improvements Inc, a small home renovation company with extensive and loyal clientele that has been serving Lower Mainland residents since 1992.

In 2009 and 2010, Siegfried and his efficient team were recipients of the Consumers’ Choice Award, and the team considers it a distinctive honour to have been selected by consumers for their quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. In that same year, Siegfried was featured in the Canadian Builders Quarterly for his leadership in quality home renovations and customer satisfaction.

Siegfried has a passion for building and he is proud to be partnering with Laneway Consulting because of their fundamental commitment to the same goals and values that customers have valued with Home Suite Home’s services over the years.
